There are two types of filtering: depth filtering and surface filtering.
Surface filters prevent sediments and pollutants from entering the medium. Outside the filter media, they limit them. All of the impurities, pollutants, and sediments are captured by depth filters within the media. Depth filters operate in a convoluted manner to remove particle materials. The substance is moving through the depth racially.
